I have the choice to update or to do my homework. Updating sounds good. Things have slowed down slightly. I'm finished with my music history class, but I still have one last essay for it to turn in next week. I'm also finished with the clarinet! I really hate the clarinet and I'm glad that's over. I'm not sure what my next instrument is yet.
Next semester's schedule is looking better. I'll be taking CC Christian Tradition (with Mr. Huelin, one of my fav profs), music history, math 120, guitar methods, an ed class, school music I and II, basic conducting, band, horn, and horn stars. Hopefully a much easier schedule to manage.
Preparations for Uganda are going well. I'm getting a lot of support and from some unexpected places...like my orthodontist and Mrs. Carrig. It's really awesome to see how God is working to make this happen. As it all comes together, it becomes clearer that this is what God is calling me to do this summer.
On a not so happy note....I've been having a lot of wrist pain for the past week, so I saw a hand specialist today. He doesn't think it's carpal tunnel, but I have to have a nerve test done to make sure. I'm also starting physical therapy on Monday and he gave my a really low dose of cortizon in my wrist. He thinks it's probably just inflammed and stressed from overuse...so hopefully it will clear up soon.
That's about it from the Midwest. Tomorrow I'm going to Chicago for the day with CC and I hope to meet up with Kristine at Navy Pier and maybe Katie and her sister. And then I'll be doing Beethoven. More Beethoven!
