(no subject)
So the unemployment office went ahead and approved my stuff. Sent me a letter last wednesday. I went to put my info in and they said my accounts were all locked. It was an IT issue, so I spoke to them directly and got it fixed in about four minutes flat.
Then I went to do my usual thing and they said I couldn't because I skipped a week. So, somewhere in the last week they stuffed an extra week in and said I missed it. It's not anything against me. It is just the way the government doesn't work.
I got my final paycheck today, along with a cute little pink slip. The payment came with an expense account card. I'm sort of boggled. Get fired: Get an expense account? It's legit, but .... Really weird.
A few days ago I decided to make noodles. Ended up making some odd noodly broth. Came out great! Today I made Jumbalaya and it also came out great. I'm going to be over-eating now because of the awesome flavor. I can't stop eating it!
Oh ... The holiday thing ... Well. I got a bag of gummi bears for myself as a present. Mother sent me a card stating I needed to turn my satanic soul over to God before it's too late.
I took a drive out to the country and got to pet a horse for a few minutes. Weather was really cold, though, and there was snow everywhere. I wouldn't have worried so much if I had taken the Gryphon's Delight, but I was in the car so I wasn't as secure as I would have liked. But still.
My sleep schedule ... Wow. I don't even know what my body is up to right now. I've been sleeping in 2 hour batches it seems. I have been trying to get it onto a better schedule but nothing I have done so far has worked. It just gets really tired and I crash, then 2 hours later I'm awake again. Waking up at midnight and being awake until 6 am just feels wrong, especially when I am trying to wake up at 8am. I think it's not working again tonight.
