Dispite having to spend all day at school,
seeing Jessica made living through it worth it.
Seeing Jessica makes living through anything worth it.
The storm was so beautiful tonight.
It made things
fucking perfect.
And last night,
I went to see The Adicts with
Henry (who is now my closest friend at Druid Hills,
seeing as he's the only person there (besides Paul, The Fat One) I've hung out with outside school.)
last night.
Weirdest crowd I've ever seen.
There were a bunch of skinheads,
A bunch of old people,
and a few girls trying to look punk, with their fancy purses in hand.
The funniest thing ever happened,
when,
near the end of the second opening band (Bang Sugar Bang, who was alright),
this girls mom tried was taking her out of the show (which was funny enough in it's self),
and she started leading her daughter straight into the mosh pit,
where someone was very quickly pushed right into her,
sending the her flying.
Just imagine this 5' 6" 45+ year old mom,
wearing a striped suit jacket with a large, matching purse,
leading her 14 or so year old daughter out of a dark room filled with really punk-looking fuckers,
and some sweaty, 5' 9" skinhead with no shirt,
flying into her and knocking her flat on her ass.
This is mostly for memory purposes anyway.
All in all,
last night was
THE BEST FUCKING CONCERT EVER.
It topped EVERYTHING.
Dispite only knowing about 4 of the songs they played,
and not being that excited about it before hand,
it was easily the best.
-The Adicts sound amazing live.
-They put on a kick ass show.
-Dispite the all the fucking huge skinheads, the crowd (mosh-pit and otherwise) rocked.
-The Adicts just kick ass.
-During "Joker In The Pack":
~Monkey came out in a joker playing card costume.
~They threw playing cards, and I got one.
-They played several songs that made me think of Jessica.
Monkey is so damn cool.
