(no subject)
Things are going well for the most part, although there's been a couple "bumps in the road" recently. Nothing I can't handle. The band played our second show last Saturday night. It went really well! Good crowd, good response! The venue liked us too and would like to have us back. I felt pretty good about the whole thing the next day, much better than I did after our first show. We'll be playing our first all ages show in a couple weeks, then our first out of town show up in Santa Fe the following weekend! Im pretty excited about both. Also the other night on a whim, I put in an order of buttons for the band! expecting them to arrive Monday!
Ramona and I broke up earlier this week. It sucked but it seems for the best right now. It was rather complicated anyway, more so that it should be, especially for a relationship that was only two and a half months old. I've been pretty much keeping my distance from her for now, not answering her calls or returning her texts. I know it seems shitty, but I really don't wanna argue or fight right now. It seems to me that it would only antagonize and already "delicate" and potentially "explosive" situation... I know sooner or later Im gonna run into her somewhere, and it will in all liklihood, be at least awkward and uncomfortable... Just for now, it seems pointless to go back and forth with her. I can't see any good coming out of it. I still feel about it though... Oh well, at least this too shall pass.
Finally got around to updating my resume and began sending it out to a couple places yesterday. I fucking HATE looking for work, but unfortunately I wasnt born into wealth, so my only options are get a job or be a bum. Im glad I have a little time, not to mention a tax return coming to me so things arent at crucial status just yet. If need be, I could go sign back up with the agency that I got into the company I was with through.
Another weekend begins, not sure what to do. Im feeling kinda antsy today though and wanna get out of the house, even for a little while. Beefcake In Chains is playing a show tomorrow night, so I might hit that up. Also there's supposed to be a barbeque at Big Gary's so if that happens, I'll definitely scoop up Alice and Howee and go there.
