i'm not quite sure, but last i checked
dead presidents were only good for the sideview of their head
on metal or paper.
oh sure,
it's nice to hear the words they said
but there isn't much to learn
other than how to talk nice
or at least look nice instead.
i guess they did things like start countries and save lives
but they also taught young men how to die
for some cause beyond their own:
some thought beyond their mind.

i don't find it apropos
to name a school after any president
especially if all that's left is the dust of his bones.
go to school thinking thinking it's a school that you own.
