During the UFC PPV on Saturday, Khalib Starnes, a Canadian fighter, had a really bad match. Since Saturday he has been released from his UFC contract. The following is a statement released by him. This is a very entertaining and insightful letter.

But if you break a bone, is that not a reason for a TKO? If the bone was broken in Round 1, why answer the bell for Round 2?

In any case, it provides a good explanation for what we saw.

I suppose it could be a reason for a TKO. As for answering the bell, my guess would be that adrenaline may have masked the pain enough that he thought it was something minor.

assuming the "why call me out" was talking about the entry title, i just put that as you and i were talking about that particular fight on saturday night.

could you bring my ticket to the move this weekend? the rescheduled day is apparently aug. 10 and i will be in belgium. methinks i will cash it in and go see the police next thursday.

OK, I'll bring the ticket to the move. I suspect I'll be there more for the early part than the later part - but that's just a guess.

Since we are *also* going to The Police, maybe we can meet up anyway....
