[Pokedressing day 2]
Today I went on an expedition with Red, and along the way after the Umbra cave test adventure my double joined us. As we were leaving the beach we ran into a few; like Satoshi again for a few moments. I don't know why but that kid is strangely adorable... The other I ran into was a human Deoxys. I'm still surprised that such a thing exists even with the knowledge of this Island's powers. A humanoid of a Pokemon simply did not cross my mind.
But anyways, when we got to the outskirts of Umbra cave it was pretty awesome to climb again even though it wasn't that long ago since I've climbed something. Crunch was ecstatic to be around a place with so much earth around and he helped us get around by pushing the bigger boulders out of the way. My Kokoromori had fun flying around and being in a dark cave again, and nothing too interesting went on inside. It was a little unnerving, hearing all the echoing and the sound of water dripping. Leave it to me to think about water flooding the cave while we're still in it... But nothing bad happened, I caught a Zubat which I thought was interesting at first until a herd of them came charging at us every few steps... According to Red, that stuff is normal in Kanto...yikes.
The Zubat I caught was male and it's tiny because its fairly young. It's great becase I get to raise it just right and it'll make the transit into Crobat all the quicker. As we trekked the cave we talked a lot about various things and we managed to put together a thesis that he may be from the past. It's not totally confirmed but it's a high probability that he is. During the conversation, in an ironic fashion about telling him the kinds of evolution stones discovered, I tripped on an everstone. I gave it to him and he was pretty happy to receive it, I'm sure he can use it better than I could too.
When I ran into my other self he greeted me first and I was happy to see him. We had a long conversation to ourselves before Red came back. I like how perky and happy he is, sometimes I wish I were him. He seems to be much more easy going and relaxed about things... We introduced more of our Pokemon to one another and that went well until his Aianto named Kiwi bit onto Ariel's tail... I don't know whether or not the conversation being interrupted was a good or bad thing. I was ready to tell him something really important I hadn't let anyone else but Bel know for a really long time. I still kind of want to, it's eating away at me inside and it feels like I'm being damaged, but that's a whole 'nother matter in itself.
After Red nicknamed me Toby and my double Ton-Ton to avoid confusion, I managed to coax 'Ton-ton' into going with us to the forest because it was filled with bugs. Originally Red and I were going to travel to the plains but we felt we needed all the energy, water, etc to go through such a place and a forest was much more easier. Red caught a Wurmple, Ton-ton got a Metapod with extreme ease (I find Metapods to be very amusing...) and I got a Roselia, female, it had a fairly long skirt. After that we ate, and again I was surprised by my double; he has such a light and modest appetite, he ate just a fruit bar compared to me eating a snack and a mega sandwich, heh.
After that we looked for a home; I'm currently and contently residing near the beach in the CMA. I like waking up to the smell of the ocean and the bright sun in the mornings, and sitting out on a beach chair is nice... that, and there's so many conveniences near by and I'm also easy to find.
Red lives not too far from me, too. I don't know if he's satisfied with his choice yet, though. Tomorrow I think I'll study up on Pokemon breeding and spend the day relaxing with my Pokemon and hopefully Ton-ton. He's been visiting the Pokemon center in the day time as of late and we talk and stuff, it's nice. I like it here... I wonder if that's a bad thing, though...
