Waking Eyes and Weakerthans
Yesterday morning, as part of my Saturday morning routine, I was looking at BlogTO, when I read about a free concert at the Harbourfront Centre. Who was I to pass up a free concert? Especially with the Waking Eyes and the Weakerthans. Bonus points to anyone who can name the connection between those two bands.
So, with little planning, Arthur and I headed down for some good tunes and some good beer. As has been happening frequently over the last few days, we had a 10 minute downpour during the middle of the Waking Eyes' set. Was I ever glad the seating area was covered.
Too bad the Wonderland plans fell through, but I did manage to give blood instead.
Well, the weather's way too nice to waste it indoors! Get out there everyone! It's another 30 degree day here in the city! Which means, I may spend just a bit of it indoors watching Miami Vice, but we'll see.
