A Quick Update
So, the surgery was a week and a day ago. It has been a painful recovery so far, but I am recovering in good time. I haven't gotten a good night's sleep since the surgery, but I'm doing my damnedest not to be mean to people. Everyone has been really cool about wishing me well and helping me out and stuff.
Thanks to Megan, Cerissa and Amanda for coming to the hospital. I really appreciate it, even though I didn't get to see Megan when she was there. And, I love the book you guys made me. I've been showing it to everyone who comes over. Thanks for the roses, Megan, and the mix CD, Cindy. Emily gave me a stuffed dog, too.
I've been doing a shitload of physical therapy, and I would say I'm doing a little better than expected in that department. I've already been looking into martial arts schools for after my recovery, and I've found three promising ones so far. I haven't gotten much homework done, though. Vicodin makes homework very hard.
