Sometimes living in LA can be quite handy, and not just because it doesn't rain, and Nancy Sinatra lives next door. Sometimes I get to see great bands. On Saturday, I headed off to see my dear Alain play in his new band, Red Lightning.
Unfortunately, I turned up after his set had finished. My inability to synchronise my life with other people's is a searing pain in... the knee. Still, I amused myself by assaulting some young lass from Philadelphia, with a rolled-up newspaper. Her friend had very pink hair. Why the Americans named a city after a brand of cream cheese is something I shall never understand.
I hope you'll all come and visit me when I move into my new house in Primula.
