Ah, actions without consequences, behaving badly and the like. A fascinating suggestion, to be sure. I mean, it isn’t as if I’ve ever done anything so foolhardy as, oh, steal a palantir or play poker with the stakes being a Silmaril. It is not as if I have travelled through space and time to steal the Dark Crystal and sell pieces of it on Ebay. I certainly have never helped reanimate a possessed demon car and gift it to a friend, nor have I ever done anything so frivolous as play in a punk-rock-heavy-metal-thrash-goth band at the son of God’s karaoke party. Indeed, it isn’t like I’ve played poker with a pirate, nor stolen the Hope Diamond.
Irresponsible? Me? Surely not. After all, I am nothing but the perfect liaison between my Associates and the Galaxy.
