Stuff...
So the plan for showing up randomly at kellys on valentines day was crushed the other day when kelly asked if we could wait until the 15th to do something. I guess she has tons of school work to do, so i had to burst my bubble and tell her i had the day off. She was still pretty excited so the surprise was still there. Just the timing was a little off.
On an unrelated topic, i've been having a pretty good week at work. I managed to do two good deeds yesterday. First, a customer was interested in NAFTA benefits for his business (more specifically what percent of goods had to be U.S. made to qualify as duty free under NAFTA), so i went out of my way to find out. I called back and told him 60% (as per my EDA) and even offered to email him a copy of the certificate of origin with all the terms and conditions.
Second, i had to call a customer to get a comercial invoice. The guy was pretty pissed cause he'd been waiting for 3 weeks and it still hadn't been released from customs. So he said he'd fax me an invoice and went out of my way for the 2nd time in one day, and asked the people in our imaging dept. to keep an eye out for it and get it to me ASAP. So i had the invoice within 15 minutes and submitted the paperwork to customs. Guess i was just feeling helpful yesterday.
