LJ Drama!
In case you haven't already heard, Livejournal has discontinued basic accounts for new users. What does this mean? Basically, that if you're joining LJ after yesterday you either buy yourself a paid account or you put up with the ads that come with a plus account. No more ad-free pay-free LJ for new people! Everyone currently on my f-list right now won't be directly affected by this, but some of you RP on Livejournal, and so if you make a character journal, expect ads to come with it!
If you want to see the escalating wank over this, head on over to the comments on the newest post in the News section. Pretty much everyone is howling about this, and for once it has absolutely nothing to do with fandom! Oh LJ, how you do manage to fuck up.
When will Insanejournal get a better server? I'd like to see that mass exodus that everyone was talking about back in the day.
