Good Friends ; Great Night
There is nothing like two great friends and one wonderful wife to straighten things up. I'm not one to celebrate holidays. I don't like going out on nights when everybody else is out. I don't like crowds. I think movies are better when the cinema is empty, I think bars are cool when the only people there are the people you went out to see. So with that in mind, I don't remember the last time I went out on Halloween and in the last 15 years I've only gone to one New Year's Eve party and I made sure I left before midnight. And I don't ever remember having fun on any such occasion.
Last night was different. I had so much fun hanging out with defrocked, dzuunmod & rottenfruit. We didn't do anything special, just a nice dinner, a little walk, some wine & sangria, and an empty bar with no smoking & sometimes good, sometimes Elvis music. But that was perfect. I just didn't want the night to end, which (as Sonia can attest to) is an absolute rarity for me. I'm always the one pulling at her shirt saying "let's go home". Not this time...
...btw, however impressive this looks in these pictures, it still does not do it justice to how cool and intricate it actually is. Now if only I had a picture of my sweetie in her sexy dress and her striped stockings...
