I bought a GBA game, Metroid Fusion, and it is damn addictive... The only drawback is I have an original GBA, Lindsay and I each bought eachother one. That was the first thing we ever actually gave the other. Anyways, the screen on it is ass unless you have a superpowered light source, so I curl up in a corner directly under a flourescent light I snitched from across the house, and I play. I wonder what was going through Nintendo's mind as they made a portable game system that needs floodlights to see the screen. Now I need to trade my GBA in for a GBA SP (this one has a backlit screen!)
I went to Edmonton for three days. I spent 3/4 of my time in the hospital with my Guido. He's now on a special steroid and painkillers so he can enjoy what time he has left. He is finally looking happier, he's talking, spending more time awake, having a full night sleep, and just before I left him, he was walking by himself. That is an extroidinary feat for someone who was almost catatonic four days earlier.
I also went to the Oddysium with my mom. We explored a little and took in two IMAX movies. The Coral Reef, and the Forces of Nature. They were awsome! I watched divers explore four different coral reefs, they had one fish called a Potatoe Cod. It probably weighed over 50 pounds and was about twice the size of my dog. Most of the larger fish can open their mouths and a smaller fish will swim in and begin to clean out all of the parasites. There was also this cleaning shrimp, the divers opened their mouths and the shrimp came right up and ate from their gums. It was cool. In the Forces of Nature one, a volcano erupted in the middle of the night. It sent pillars of ash and rock 10 miles into the sky. All the energy began discharging as lighting. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen.
