merry fuckin christmas. i saw my dad today. i talked to him for the first real time since i was about 12 when i sat in on his trial. we made small talk for a bit, then he gave me $100. on one hand i wanted to throw it back in his face a yell at him that i've been taking care of myself just fine since i was 15, but at the same time i wanted the $100. so i pocketed it and went to work thinking to myself; wait, i've sold out my pride for way less than $100 plenty of times. so fuck it!
