Well hello....

Long time no post...

Nothing much has happened really.

Took Vicky to Blackpool for her birthday. Good stuff. I even went on one of those rides that is just a big pole that goes hundreds of feet in the air. i'm usually not all that into going on them but we ended up doing so 5 times. Early November really is the best time to go to Blackpool, there's no-one there, no queues etc, and it isn't all that cold yet.

Have moved offices to Wallasey. I'm on Crisis Loans, which means I have to deal with the public all day every day. It's not nearly as bad as I expected. The people are nice, the environment is good, and I'm home by 5:30 at the latest every day. Convenience-wise it's the best decision I ever made regarding my job.

Due to a few mishaps with regards to people joining, Mark and I have put off trying to find other members until January. That way people won't be skint in the run up to Christmas etc. So now we've worked out a set of acoustic covers with a view to doing some open mic nights etc;

Dan Potthast - I've Set Sail
The Verve Pipe - The Freshmen
John Holt - Touch Me In The Morning
Leonard Cohen - Hallelujah
The Rentals - The Love I'm searching for
The Yardbirds - For Your Love
Led Zeppelin - Babe I'm Gonna Leave You Soon
Elvis Costello - I Want You
Tom Waits - Downtown Train
The Cure - Boys Don't Cry
Arcade Fire - Neighbourhood #1
Gomez - Whippin' Piccadilly
The Zombies - Time of The Season
The Rakes - Retreat

Also we're getting a bloke called Rich to record and remix some stuff for us so we have more of a product. It's all still going good despite another setback personnel-wise.

later.
