November Tidbits
RWTB- As I sit down to try and get caught up I note that... The RWTB november Newsletter is STILL not up. I apologize for that, and I really hoped that's what I would be typing just now... more technical difficulties... meaning precisely that my dog ate my first copy... and although I had the foresight to grab a back up copy... that back up copy is suddenly missing also... this one I can't blame on the dog... as I don't have proof... but I'm not ruling it out... SCRATCH THAT, my wife but it in the recycling, but it's been retrieved! If all goes well I'll have that bad boy posted today!
Promotions will be here before we know it, the fourth quarter is such a busy time that it's over before we ever know it.
Adults Weapons Class- November15th and November 22nd
PERSONAL- Life has been crazy at the Kiefer household... Holly has officially started her business. She had her first paying client this week. Which is very good. If you need a massage or know someone who does... Let me know and I'll forward you the info.
I've been battling this cold which has just been hanging on... I'm more than a little tired of it.
Politics- I'm sorry I try to keep politics out of this blog as much as possible but I'll just quickly add that I did vote this week, but more exciting to me that the presidential election is..... the Electoral split! Nebraska gets to be the first! If you haven't heard... Nebraska in all it's wisdom has a system by which electoral votes are not awarded on a winner take all basis. Which I think is the best possible arrangement. It isn't completely popular vote based but I gotta feel that it reflects it more closely than the system we had been using before the 90's. So Obama got one Electoral vote out of Nebraska. The only thing cooler than that is if Maine (who also has a split system) would have given up an electoral vote for McCain. (This political race has made me very cynical about this two party system) It feels right, it feels like the individual vote counts for more this way.
