The whole day sort of promised rain and yuck... every time I stepped outside I got rained on, but when I wasn't out things were just overcast. So I ended up screwing around a lot in Poser and Photoshop again. And seeing as how I seem to be on some sort of DC Comics kick, I present two renders of DC heroines:
This is my rendering of Black Canary. Her costume's pretty basic... used the standard Poser bodysuit on her with a couple of extra frills, and put a leather jacket on her that I got from a clothing set a while back. Plus fishnets... everyone who draws her puts her in fishnets anymore. Not that we should complain! The drum she's crushing is actually an old oil drum prop which has "crush" morphs built into it. The warp effect of her "canary's cry" was created in Photoshop using the Distort tool.
This one is the latest version of Hawkgirl. She was fun to put together... I found that someone made a "Hawkgirl" costume for another female figure, so I downloaded it and tweaked the headpiece so it'd fit the model I'm using. Add a modified bodysuit, boots, fingerless gloves, wings and a nice medieval mace and she's ready to put the smack down on whoever gets in her way! :-)
In other news, K is now without a gall bladder... it was removed this morning. Turns out that it was a good thing they removed it, too... apparently the bladder duct was almost completely clogged by a enormous gall stone. He has pictures... which are quite grotesque. Anyway, so far he's had no complications to speak of, so good for him!
