Formally I don't know much about art, but I do enjoy it, a lot of it, from prehistoric art and the art of the ancient world, through to medieval and renaissance art, and on to the much-maligned modern art ( Read more... )

Well, yes, some things are big, and some things are nearby, but as it's a major public sculpture project I think you can rest easy that a thorough health and safety assessment will be carried out.

Isn't it just such a pisser living in a democracy! ... ;o)

Personally I reckon the motoring lobby will chip in if the issue is a serious one.

Anyhow, all this aside, does the sculpture speak to you at all? Howabout the other four contenders?

Hmmm, it seems to be the official site, and it works fine for me.

All I can suggest is to test your google-fu on 'Angel of the South' and/or Ebbsfleet and/or Wallinger.
