Well, our civilisation may be collapsing under the weight of postmodern anomie, and our environment may be in imminent danger of catastrophic change, but, the kingdom endures, it's a beautiful day to smile at lovely lasses in summer dresses, and Thornton's is once again stocking my favourite flavour of ice cream, and it's just as good as I remember it!

No wonder Mr Alzis is quite so chipper.
