Pillow Fight Day

Mar 30, 2009 10:32

I noticed only afterwards that the rules and times link didn't post over here from Myspace, so here's the rules and times, for anybody interested:

At 2:00, there is a pre-mission meet up at the Howitzer Marker which is located on a triangular plot of land at Harrison Street, Grove Avenue, and Park Avenue. Here, your pillows will be inspected and we're all going to make sure we are all on the same page as to how we want Pillow Fight Day executed.

At around 3:00, we all all going to split up and walk over to Monroe Park. Keep yourselves spread out and those pillows hidden. No one must even be able to guess that this day isn't going to be like any other. So when you arrive, just hang out around the Laurel St. and Harrison St. section of the park and wait for the signal.

The signal: A guy and a girl will get into a very loud argument! Don't do anything except act as thought this has gotten your attention. The guy will pull out a pillow and hit the girl, and the girl will follow suit. Do not do anything until you see feathers fly. When feathers fly that is your signal to grab your pillow and join in the fight.

After a while, we will also head over to Shafer Court, via a side entrace of Shafer Court Dining Hall (810 Cathedral Place). Don't linger too long in there, since it is indoors. Swing your pillows a few times and leave through the front door to get back to the main action as the fight will resume outside in front of the Dining Area at Shafer Court.

When the fight begins to wind down, make your way back to the Howitzer Marker for a post mission debriefing.

I KNOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE A LOT to digest. It really isn't.
It will all be covered at the first meet up, but in case you can't make it there at two, just promise to read this a couple of times before coming to Monroe Park :O)

And remember to bring your own pillow.
Preferably one with feathers!

It's fine if you're not able to show up exactly on time, just remember the other locations where this is taking place and head straight there.
