I'm sorry, Ant. That was pretty far out of line for me to say. Hectic morning...no excuse. But I want to get across that while I dig the anarchy lifestyle and love hearing the next generation say, 'Fuck the rules' just as loudly as mine did, there are certain things that the rules apply to. And this is one of them. Without organizers, callers and mailing trees last year would have blown up horribly with zombies just randomly showing up at Short Pump Mall and getting arrested by the cops there. It was only due to that organization and logistics that we had more than 100 people marching on Carytown.

This year is no different. People just 'showing up' doesn't work. People driving across town to a park also doesn't work when there is one closer. For the right mix of Shock and Awe, the zombies have to arrive as one. Solidarity, brother. And solidarity takes planning. Planning takes organization. Organization takes logistics. And this time, logistics means a sign-up list.

Also, it keeps the target and the meeting locations out of the hands of the police, which is where we almost failed last year. So if you're going to walk, walk smart. Sign up. This goes for everyone.
