Diamond Dave has a lot to answer for. Sure he goes from frontman of one of the greatest bands ever to paramedic, but that does not excuse him from almost killing my child. From thousands of miles away. A child he's never seen. Ever. Still, that's no excuse! His words gave Jeffrey the impression jump, go ahead and jump; might as well jump... from the changing table!!!!!! Sure I let the kid listen to Van Halen, but I can't (and won't) blame myself for him listening to the song in the first place. I wasn't even in the room when it happened. Actually, David Lee Roth wasn't in the room either and Jeffrey listened to "Jump" over 2 hours before the incident, but the fact remains that rock music is dangerous to infants and teenagers. It tells kids to take drugs, have sex and jump off of various surfaces. Just like Beavis and Butt-head caused kids to play with fire, Van Halen caused Jeffrey to jump from his changing table.
Sure he's fine and has no ill effects, that still doesn't mean rock music in innocent in all this. Now that I think of, I can blame the changing table for being tall or the real estate agent for selling us a house with hard floors.
