Totally agree with everything you've said! I couldn't believe how stunned McCain's supporters looked at his excellent, gracious speech. I'm hoping maybe his words will sink in for them in a day or two.

I'm glad Obama admitted it wasn't going to be all wine and roses. I've always worried about his pie in the sky rhetoric--it sounds great, but will any of it actually happen? His speech tonight, paired with McCain's, gave me hope that it might.

Just too bad the gay rights movement had to be beaten in several states on the same night. Otherwise, a perfect night (and I mean night... the time difference meant I sat up till 6 in the morning to follow it!)
