So I just installed Age of Empires II + the expansion pack for the first time after having it lay unopened on a shelf for like 6 years.
Is the game supposed to graphically look like it was made in 1992?
I thought it was supposed to have beautiful, state of the art (for being from 1999/2000) 2D graphics? Yet, fuckin... DUNE II had better graphics and less jerky animations?? sure it's at 1280x1024, but if you took Dune II and scaled it up to the same resolution, it'd still look better and have more detailed, smooth animations.
Is there something I'm missing here?? Cause this game is fuckin ugly.
