The Causeway, Sunday Night
"Hey can I borrow ten bucks for the bus?"
"I already gave you ten bucks for the bus Man." Leo reminded him.
"Oh yeah. How about a little something for the road."
Leo handed him a brown paper bag full of brownies. "Don't eat 'em all at once Man."
Charlie took the bag with thanks, and then he and his brother embraced.
"It was great to see you Charlie." Leo said.
"You too Man. Take it easy." And with that, Charlie strolled off along the causeway.
Leo watched him go for a while, then turned back towards the island. "What a deadbeat Man." he muttered.
