'Be Strong, Casper!' Episode 8,904
Casper has busy days... and then he has BUSY days
Today, he had an exam paper that ended at 3.05pm
He dashed out of school the moment he could
and in a matter of a few minutes and a $3.40 cab fare
He was at the Arts House for the 3pm performance of a play
The play, Bondage, was put up as a triple-bill as part of Drama Box's Blanc Space: New Play Season 2009
The greatest thing about this play was that it was written by a dear friend of his
and the multi-talented director had at one time taught Casper at a workshop
Casper felt so proud of his friend as he had mentioned a few years ago that he was writing one and it's finally done!
The production was pretty intriguing and rather dark in tone
There was even a pleasant surprise twist in plot and the casting
Casper really enjoyed himself and congratulated Boon Seng after viewing it
Casper's not saying this just because he's a friend of the playwright
The reviews in the media were very positive too!
Should have taken a picture with that talented fellow!
Casper forgot because he was rushing off to his next engagement
Edit: Casper forgot to acknowledge and thank his ticket sponsor, his dearest 438! Bad, Casper! Bad!
Back at Raffles City, he joined Mabel and Reiko in preparing Shuying's presents and card
They then took the train to the West which they rarely explored
At Jurong East Interchange, they decided to stay on the train to see how the new extension to Joon Koon was like!
Casper pointed out landmarks he recognised as the train tracks actually went past the camp he was once in!
After that little detour, they finally arrived in Bukit Gombak for Shuying's 21st birthday celebration
They finally had dinner (they arrived at past 7 and haven't had dinner yet!)
And Casper can be seen trying hard not to burst into laughter
Something he has to do a lot with these people around
