You can order them with chicken instead of beef. I do on occasion.

I will have to try that! I've always wanted to try a Phily sandwich. But over here they never come with chicken. It's always beef :(

I've never had a cheese steak that I *really* liked. I mean, they're ok and sometimes I get the feeling that I really would like it more this time around so try it again, but I'd take a hot ham and swiss any day over a cheese steak.

That's exactly the reason. After all, cheese steaks were invented in South Philadelphia.

Ya'll are making me hungry! They just can't make a good cheese-steak 'round here. :( The best I've had (other than homemade) was at the Monroe Fair and it was still sorely lacking. Bah.
At least I don't have any issues finding good coffee. :)
