Well, not quite yet. But I've been offered an interview for that Duty Picture Assistant attachment. Shitty hours, but significantly more dosh, more interesting work, and the first step on the ladder to being a Picture Editor. They're not mucking about either - closing date last Monday, interviews next Monday.
In other news, I escaped from a wooden box that some lunatic set on fire on Friday night. For a completely unrehearsed show (I managed to have one quick run-through of the script with the comperes, and no full practise of the escape itself), it went as well as could be expected: which is to say, I wasn't happy with it, but I was satisfied. The escape itself was downright intrepid as well, and was suitably full of derring-do.
Early reports suggest that the Flash Monkey are interested; watch this space...
