after 20 years of living in a world constructed around christianity i'm becoming quite an uncomprising asshole about thing that are scheduled on the high holidays. ATTENTION "PROGRESSIVE SOCIAL JUSTICE GROUPS": don't give me that anti-religion bullshit. if you wouldn't schedule a meeting or conference on christmas, don't schedule one on rosh hashanah or yom kippur. this is not just a personal scheduling conflict, it is an equity issue.
