Yeah, I dunno why he feels it should be more difficult than it already is, but it'll be nice & surreal to see him making art with a giant log on his shoulder.

This is so great. Thanks for posting the link.
When I first met Sir Woodring in the mid-nineties and was closely scrutinizing his originals, I asked if he used a brush for any of it to which he scoffed:"I could never get that kind of control with a brush!". He went on to not only describe his loyalty to the pen, but explain that he rigged his own nib for just the right effect-- which completely set me on ear. I always wondered just what that entailed, and now we get to see it full-sized.
I hope when he meets his goal he chooses not to stray far from Seattle for these performances. I intend to be present for at least one.

What about stippling? Or is a dot considered to be a very, very short line? (Yes, I'm going to be that nit-picking jerk)
