But most likely to gain more reasons to loathe the general population. But I do need to get out more, to experience the world and it's wonderful maniacs. Just because I don't like people doesn't mean they can't entertain me. Nothing like a night home alone to figure that you need more human interaction.

Happy New Year everyone!"

I must say this lil mantra has worked so well that I'm going to expand on it this year.

My 2006 did, at times have the tone of a Daniel Clowes comic(Ghost World, David Boring). I've had a few strange and out of the ordinary adventures throughout the past year. I've met a lot of new people and even made a few new friends. I have to say I've gained more in 2006 than any of the past years I've been here in California. Be it knowledge, good friends, experiences and even some weight...hehehe. But what I didn't gain were more reasons to loathe the general population. If anything I have much more love for my fellow humans. Unrequited at best but it's a start. I'm pretty confident people will get the message.

So lets get to this year's mantra...

2007 will continue with a tone of a Daniel Clowes book mixed in with a lil of a David Lynch movie. Added into the mix will be a lil bit of Adrian Tomine's Optic Nerve comics. My strange and beautiful adventures will get even stranger and more beautiful. This will also be the year where the reality of my life and the reality of the comic the Invisibles becomes even more blurred. 2007 will be an awakening for anyone around me. The people around me will also help me wake up. I will have more interaction with different types of people. I will have even more interaction with my types of people. 2007 will be the year I learn what it feels like to lose 50+ lbs. I will get rid of what I don't need in my life both physically and spiritually. I will experience intimacy again this year. I will complete projects and expand and evolve ideas for new ones.

And I will remember that this is only a ride.

Happy new year everyone!!!!
