E2C event was fun
I ended up racing with some one with around 8+ years of experience and who came first in E2C before. The team was called Livewires this year and was good team. We grouped up for a bit with another team called Ironbound, at first i thought they just really enjoyed that group of races...but it turned out they where the two to originaly start the Ironbound series. I went the full 24 hours this race and I think i came out a little above half way, which is a bit better than i was expecting (was expecting half way :P)I think we scored 7300points if I recall right and we beat Steve and the other guy with the beard and glasses i always forget his name lol, (he raced with steve last year) to check the offical scores and more pics go to http://www.hrsar.ca/e2c/ give it a few days since the race was only yesterday, oh and the top team I dont recall ever being near the top 5 or people ive met before they scored almost double my score around 13900 points if i recall 2nd 12400 3rd 12300 (Jodi's team, ouch lost by 100 points well for second). Well I did good for this race considering I put my water pack in the wrong way and was Dehydrated which lead to a huge lost of performance later on, I ended up drinkin some water purifed from a stream with a pack of Eloader and i seen 300% increase in my performance for 2hours from around 3am to 10am I was in tons of pain, my left knee felt like i blew it out, I could barely walk and I had to get towed the last 4km.
