dadrock!
i went along to an in theory amazing gig at barfly yesterday, 26 bands headlined by mistys big adventure.
sadly most of them where rubbish dadrock i've no idea why anyone would want to book...
i've been listening to sonic youth for the first time in ages lately and really yearned to hear a new take on that, so was pretty made up when we ambled into an empty korova basement at midnight and heard the sailplanes doing exactly that.
the rest of the night was spent dancing to reggae in the magnet, barring a pint at metropolitan where john bandit was djing and a quite good looking drunk woman was dancing alone, and producing the most spellbinding sight i've ever seen in my life (she was obviously bladdered but a fantastic dancer)
i'm well again mercifully. sadly that means i have to work tomorrow.
