Giggage!
Well last nights performances were very good i thought, Was pleasantly surprised with the first band on at our humble lil club Esquires. The Torpedoes were very cool and gave us a good warm up set, next on were the Ghost Of Lemora and I have to say I have seen these guys a good few times now but last night was possibly the 1st time I took proper notice of them :).
The Last band to grace the stage was The Last Dance and yup true to there excellent form they were spot on. very entertaining if a little criticizing of the great Sisters lol oh well goth politics. I have to agree though the rough raw goth guitar and live drums just cant be beaten, was nice to see a Goth band with a live drummer although the Sisters withought the good Doctor wouldnt be the same.
After the Lastdance finished we left the upstairs part of the club and headed downstairs to level 1 and it was soooo dead for a Sat night I was amazed just how few people there were I remember the good ol days of it being maxed out, Our D.J played what he could out of his limited Goth tunes he has and we drunk some more beerz and then left on the whole a great night out I thought. Was great to see Paul and Bridge up for the evening and also good to catch up with Ed, Anne, Russ and Loopy from The coven Luton. :)
