I loved the Tremere - you were all such fun.

I thought all the Tremere were fantastic! I felt a huge swell of pride during the meeting on Saturday night when everyone got behind our vision what the Order should be. We'd been divided and fractious since Transylvania and it was quite moving to see all of us united by purpose again.

I was gobsmacked by that meeting - though I don't think it showed, as I was expecting much more resistance. It fed my ego no end - especially as I wasn't in the discussions that led to it that I understand happened on Friday.

My expectation was "these are tedious, unimaginative old farts" and instead I got "right! yes! let's get on with it!".

When Mondragone did the "Hungary is great, let's be bold visionary Tremere with big ideas" speech to the rest of his house on Saturday they'd already got the right mindset from earlier meetings he'd missed out on. I was expecting significant inertia, but the Tremere were in the mood to get on with something.

This led (directly) to the "Change the mundane interference" and "Order to look to engage with other magical powers positively" motions that got through the Grand. It was all about justifying why Hungary was great and expanding those ideas through the rest of the order.

He was the Cleverest Man in the World after all!

You did the mildly insane visionary thing very well. When you threw up your arms and said "YES! YES!" to my comments about learning from the past being healthy but living in it being idiotic I got a bit scared : )

That's on my list of "Top Nice Compliments I Recieved". Thank you.

It's not something I've really done before.
