Trippin'

I just have to report on my recent activities. Sturgeon Bay--too cool for words! I was glad the weather was cool and sorta rainy. It was a most relaxing excursion and I got to spend time with several of my favorite people doing nothing but fun, non-exerting things like shopping, watching waves, watching movies, playing games, etc., not to mention the eating!!! Junk food, prime rib, pounds of spaghetti with a wine sauce--I even had soda!!! Me drinking several cans of Coke! Anyway, that was trip numero uno.

I just got back from trip number two to Chicago. A good time was had by all. I never thought I could find a city with huge buildings ideal, but it was beautiful and exciting. I got to meet two new people who are great and eat outside on a sidewalk by the river. We did a boat tour after exploring our way to Navy Pier; took in the Shedd Aquarium; saw Blue Man Group--I hadn't been keen on the idea, but I totally changed my opinion as soon as the show started and it relied a lot on non-verbal humor that I could appreciate; took in the gigantic shops--and I'm not talking souvenir-style shops; and had perfect weather. It involved a lot more walking and it was sunny and in the city so it was very different.

Trip three: next week! Ahh, a water-park hotel in WI Dells, with the people who matter most--my family! :) The weather has gotten hotter this past week so things are looking good. I can't wait! Swimming, walking the shops, eating at nifty places, swimming, taking in the sights, eating . . . :) I can't wait!

Ahhh, three trips in under a month! I guess the MA reading has been fairly doomed--mwahhh haaa haaa haa ha!!! :)
