You'll definitely want to visit "The Island"
So tonight I saw an Advanced Screening of "The Island" with Jen.
It was amazing. It blew me away. I was shocked. It gave me chills at how amazing the action was, how great the acting and characters were, and how much it sucked me into the onscreen world.
It is one of my new favorite movies. The Utopian story isnt that new, but it doesnt matter, the execution of the story is sooo unique and amazing.
AND DONT DONT DONT READ TOO MUCH ABOUT IT BEFORE HAND. Its not the twists Im protecting you from, though there are some, but that the film was just so unexpected. It was that much more fun going into a great film that I knew nothing about.
And its actually really funny and well-acted, especially by the two main peeps Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johannsen Reiner-Harris, and Steve Buscemi as the funny person. And he rocked.
GO SEE IT!
