[Isn't even half way in the house before he takes a deep breath and starts talking. I had already gone to bed because I work in the morning. When I went to bed Mia-san wasn't home, but suddenly she was. I felt her get out of bed and then kiss me on the forehead which woke me up so I went downstairs. She was making lunch for Palom and Shiraasan. Now this isn't like her, and they usually make their own lunches for school. I asked her why she was doing this. But...Mia-san...just said they really needed sleep and do their homework, they can learn responsibility when they're older. I really didn't like this. She even said they were just normal kids...but...I really don't think they are. But she just wondered if I was listening to their stories. But they really don't tell me anything

[He takes a moment to process all this. And then comes the biting "criticism:"]
You really have a way with things, you know that? You shouldn't have been scared! But, Maya's not going to hear about this unless you tell her on her own. She's a bit -- busy right now.
