It's just not fair. Why should I have to take two extra years of math just because I'm smart? My brother only made it through trig, and he got into college. But, no, I have to take a sixth year of math next year, because colleges like to see that I continue to challenge myself. It pisses me off. It's like it doesn't matter at all that I'm taking calculus, college level math, at the age when most high school students are still in Algebra II (which I took as a freshman). And let's face it, I'm not going to take anything except stats or discrete. Discrete completely doesn't fit, and if I'm going to take stats I can't have a study hall. If it were up to me, my schedule would be fun. However, while i do get to pick my classes, my schedule is still up to the man. And, the man says I have to sit through another year of math that I will hate and honestly never use again.
