And no, there were no more snipers here, no white vans for news choppers to chase down Woodman Rd. Intead there were people, thousands upon thousands of them. And do you know what they were doing? They were stampeding after obsolete laptops. So what if they're only 50 bucks? It's not like this is Ethiopia. These aren't bags of rice that the UN is delivering to the starving masses. I was there. However, I did not run or trample. I didn't even see any running or trampling until I watched the news. This is because I was on the other side of the complex and about one millionth in line. I therefore did not get the computer that I was hoping for. But that's not important. What is important is that people are idiots. I've been saying it since sixth grade and this only further affirms my belief.
