Way to go, Rochester....

Snow finally decided to arrive in Rochester. Grats, snow, you're more than a month late. The train departed long ago, and left you at the station. At least it made good time hoofing it here. I want it to snow enough for a good ski trip. Reminder, Alex. Greek Peak. You and your dad plus my dad and I. Whenever there's a substantial base. Maybe we could get some others too, like Sir Svend or Ben n' Will. With that aside, classes at the MCC aren't too bad.

My Introduction to Psychology professor comes in everyday with more energy than a person who's had an expresso enima. He seems pretty cool though. We got in a really deep discussion about green. It rocked. I'm glad I got my "textbook" for the class "cheap." It's techically the "book" crammed into a 3 inch thick megabinder of doom, and I had to shell out 60 bucks to a good friend of mine (who just went to Geneseo. Geoff, if you even read my LJ, you should meet him). Hey, it was better than paying the 100 clams he paid for it. My Oceanography professor seems like she tries a wee bit too hard to make us laugh. The textbook for that class is a joke. 1.5 inches thick for 93 dollars, new. 70 used. My Ancient Life (not pertaining to day-to-day life in classical history, like with the Greeks and Romans, more like the eveolution of life on our planet until dinosaurs got Chuck Norris'd by an asteroid) seems pretty dull. No textbook. Just online articles and tons of stuff from Discover and National Geographic magazines. I've been seeing a few familiar faces lately, but there are some I still miss and I have yet to see...

I got my Ibanez fixed. See, it wasn't broken, just techincally not in full working order. When I bought my RG-120, one of the pickups was a little wonky, and wasn't set right. I alerted the salesman about this problem, since the guitar came off the 'wall', so he went to the backroom to find an untouched model. He came back with the news of no other available models, so I forgot about it. So I recently noticed Mr. Wiggly Pickup. I couldn't stand it. My guitar had to be in perfect working order. I took "Irving" (my guitar's name) in to be repaired, shot the breeze with the guy repairing my guitar, and then tested it out on one of their biggest amps available. I had a little fun to say the least. I didn't want to draw too much attention, so I kept it reasonably quiet. I thanked the guy again for the free repair and the useful advice. So that's a summary of my happenings in Ho-hum Rochester.

Peace out readers, the very few who still read my LJ...
