Heh, Magic.

I haven't played in YEARS. Used to love it, played every day, was quite a badass.

Then I dropped out and got rid of most of my cards.

Still have a bunch though. Man, I'm oldskool hardcore :)

Well if you ever want to get rid of those cards I'll take them off your hands and actually use them. Just let me know what you have an I'll quote you a fair price. I have got some of my better cards through trades and people who are getting out of mtg.

Ehhh, that would involve actually digging them out and finding them and stuff...

And even though I don't play, I'm oddly attached to them, you know?

Heh, trades. I've always been poor, so I got everything through trading.
I was always proud of how i had over 15k cards (at one point), and tournament level decks, and had only spent a grand total of $100 on Magic in my life.

Maybe I'll take a look. Would take a while to catalog them though, as I still have over a thousand I believe.

You realize none of these cards would be Standard tournament legal, right?

The newest I have is a bit of Mirrodin. A bit. Everything else is significantly older than that. So yeah, everything is like 3+ years old.

Maybe I need to see if Apprentice is still updated and working...

Tournaments are fun and all, but I play more with my friends, and we don't go by tournament rules. I play by the "official" rules only in tournys and do a lot of fun playing with my father and hopefully the gang even more, so I'm interested in them ALL =D

I always played by the standard tournament rules (Type 1/Legacy/ie all sets) in casual play, just because limits are good things. Though sometimes breaking them can be fun (Plague Rats leik whoa!)

Maybe I'll dig them out and take a look then.

Might take a while to catalog them.

If we do eventually have a deal... I'd just ship them there in Jami's luggage :)

Preliminary inventory

1300 assorted commons and uncommons
- All Base sets from Revised (2nd Ed) to 6th Edition
- All expansions from Legends to Mirrodin
- NO LAND
- Roughly 1000 commons, 300 uncommons
- Fairly balanced in regards to color

I haven't gotten to my binder or decks yet. What would the above be worth to you as is?

Also, you ever play online? I used to play a lot with Apprentice, and I wouldn't be averse to a game or to using it.

Hmm, commons and uncommons so far eh. No rares or fun stuff yet, I kid, there are lots of things in all those sets that I want. What is the general condition of said cards? As for price, what we could do is a card by card basis(which could be tedious), or once all cards are accounted for have a mass buyout. Here is where it gets sticky, price is variable, the magazines and online prices are a good base(I lean to www.FindMagicCards.com). If you sold your stuff in a store you could get more or less cash depending on what the vendor wants or is willing to fork over, where as a trader and a player(playas say whoop!)I will be looking at more cad for my buck, and what I know can play well with my friends, I can go either route when it comes to buying, mass or card by card. Keep me posted on your categorizing, and give some small thought to a general price for either buying methods. I am very pleased at the prospect of getting a lot of cards from you =D, and pleased at the prospect of getting cards period =D. I'll wait patiently. Take care ( ... )

No, the rares and good uncommons were getting filtered out as I came across them, for enumeration later :p

Condition ranges from Played to Near Mint, with most in very good condition.

For the abovementioned block of cards, it would be mass. There's no way I'm cataloging each and every card - that would take days. I spent all morning finding and counting them as it is :p

All the really good stuff is in my decks, heh.
