remember that goal i made many livejournal entrys ago to meet my 3 favorite artist, hopefully before the year ends..
well the list consisted of
1) taking back sunday (completed) :)
2) ashanti (now completed, but will be once again completed in 3 days :)
3) lindsay lohan (in the process)
welll yup, i met ashanti...and wow, i am speechless, but the best part of everything is....(drum roll please)...
ASHANTI SAID SHE LOVED ME ON NATIONAL TV?!?!?!?! MEEEE!!!! AHHHHHHHHH :P
lol, well yeah, i went to go visit nyu early tuesday morning, and i am in love with it for some reason, idk from all the things i heard about it, good and bad, i wasnt totally sure if i'd like it or not, but i surprisingly love it, but its 90% due to the fact of its location, right in the middle of the city and an area i already know, cause of all the sleepovers @ jamies house in the city, which im gonna miss since he moved up here :( oh well, im loving the city, like it seems so surreal, cause like this is nyc, known all over the world, and is like thee city to be in, and when im there, it just feels good, like not overthe top or anything like i expect or kinda want it to be, lol, but thats a good thing. well there was this info session thena tour of the college, which doesnt have like a main campus, which is the only thing that it doesnt have that id like, cause im not gonna lie, i love the traditional big and nice and like amazing looking campuses, but new york city is the campus, its ok, lol well yeah, the tour went good, then i went into union square, which is pretty much where nyu is, and went to the virgin megastore, and yuppp im meeting ashanti there this tuesday again for this concert + autograph signing i think, thats going on, as well as a fashion show thats going on that night, that courtneys gonna be in!!! (there was an audition and outta the either 50 or 100 people tht were picked, court was one of em, congrats! ) anyways, checked that out, then headed to time square. It was like 1 something, and i knew if i went early, i had the chance to get in on trl, since i knew for a fact ashanti was gonna b on it, but luckily, and unfortuantely, so were a bunch of other artists that day, so it woulda been harder to get into, but the line was only about 20 people in front of me, half with reservations, half without. there was this really weird girl who stood in line in behind us, talking about how she grew up with ashanti and she moved somewhere to go see a better view of the sun...ahaha idk, she was weird, and left the line an hour later. Thanks to criseldas boyfriend, i kinda knew how the whole trl thing worked, so when i go up again, i know what to do, since i did it by myself this time.. anyways, im standing outside...and my mom is in line with me, holding my spot in case i wanted to run and get something or to see if she could get in, hahaha but yeah, that wasnt happening..but online, we waitied to see if any celebrities would go in through the back entrance where the guests supposeduy come in, and sure enough, chingy came out, and no one realized it was him till he got in his car. Then i was alert,and when i saw a black van pull up, i slowly walked to the back entrance and made my mom hold my spot online, and sure enough vanessa carlton comes out, i ran up to her, but she was on the phone, and like she didnt really stop for pictures, but stoped for me, but my cam wouldnt work when i pressed down, so she walked past me, but i followed, determinded to get a pic, and sure enough, i got the pic, but she isnt even looking @ the cam and she looks pissed, lol. well bout a half hour passes, and another van comes up, and its ja rule, i ran to him and a girl online with me did too, and i made her take a pic of me and him , he actually stopped to take a pic, but was rushing still, and like she took the pic, but the flash didnt go off, and it came out horrible, but u can still make out his face and mine, lol and i got a pic of him by himself that came out with flash. A few minutes later irv came in another van, but i didnt care, lol and no one ran when he went...lol, welll i knew ashanti had to be coming soon, and i see three cars pull up at three different spots, i look in one direction, and then i look back at the other direction, and ashanti literally sprints inside, no one really realized it was her, till she was in, and she didnt stop or anything, hahaha she was mad tricky, she got everyone to look in different directions, lol, random posters and stuff were handed out while everyone was standing outside, so i have random chingy and ashanti things, which is good :) well after 3 hours of standing in the freezing cold, and not being able to feel my hands or legs, a lady came out and gave wristbands for the show, and finally we were let in. We werent allowed to bring anything inside, besides our wallets and money, so i had to drop off everything at this security guards place and didnt get to brng the cam inside. Since i was bymyself, they made me sit with random people, nd everyone came with other people, so it was akward to be placed n the middle of friends nd shit. They talked to us about how much we shuld yell and shit, etc etc amd then I saw quddos and lala come out, and omg, lala is sooooooooooooooooo pretty!! simple plan came inside, and they got ready to perform, and the lead singer pierre waved to me when i said hey pierre to him, lol. The show started and they performed, and in the tape of the show, u could see the back of my head the whole time, as well as my class ring on my finger when they showed people clapping, lol After they performed, Tom hanks came out, and he gave me daps, and they showed it on tv, hahahahahaha, he was mad cool, then he did theline from forrest gump and gave out a bunch of chcolates, i still have my two he gave me....well after ASHANTI AND JA RULE CAME OUT!! nd i went crazyyyyy of course, i was like ashanti and started jumping nd waving my hands like crazy, and she saw me and waved and ahhhhhhhhh, it was the same exact thing that happened when i first saw taking back sunday b4 i actually meet them, and once again, it was just undescriable what i felt, lol....welll ashanti and ja talked for a bit...they went to a break, where ashanti smiled at me, and i screamed, ahahaha then the show was on, and ashanti was talking about the new cd, and i was like, at the top of my lungs "I LOVE YOU ASHANTI!!!!!" (i had planned to do something to get her attention on tv and something i wouldnt ever forget, and that was it, lol) and she smiled, and goes, "aww i love you too sweetie" and i think i died for those two seconds, hahahah nd right after the whole audience applauds and goes awww, and she does her laugh and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....one of the best moments in my life, and i have it on tape!!!!!!! hahahah well yup, they premiere her new video, and she comes by me to sit, and im like omg i love you!!! your the most gorgoues girl in the world and your music is awesome, and i didnt knw what to say, i was like speechless, and i tried hard to not be, lol and she was like awww your so sweet, thank you, and then i was like hi mrs, douglas to her mom, and her mom was like hi sweetie and she smiled and waved at me, ahahaha i was like yeahhhhhhh, so yeah, i had a marker in my pocket, which i wasnt suppose to, and i was like ashanti can u sign my shirt, and she was like, yeah definitly come here, but the producer was like you cant ask the artist for anything when they come up,and i totally forgot, and then someoe saw me, and they were like come with us, and then i had to leave, hahahaha i was pretty much kicked out trl for asking an autograph, but whatever, its all good, hahahahahaha she left right at the sme time i did, and i saw chingy walking in to end the show, so i didnt care.....i went back outisde, and hoped she would come through the back door, and i waited outside for another 3 hours, around 20 degrees in the city, which isnt fun at all.....and yeah, she never came,lol ja did again, so did vanessa carlton, simple plan and irv, but no ashanti :( or nelly, but it was ok, cause i have my pass to her performance and to get her autograph next week so im pumped
these past two weeks, have been on big blur...so much has changed and i dont wanna indulge....especially after the whole trl recap and how amazing that was...but i cant even begin to explain all that happening, and how so many people are changing and how im losing....one person, and its all my fault..i wanted them to be happy, and now there gonna be happy, but i didnt realize it was gonna hurt this much...i had no idea, and do you know how much it sucks to lose someone you love to make them happy and have them not know...anything at all about it or anything...uggh idk i dont wanna explain or indulge, and i bet the trl recap and this whole thing makes no sense whatsover, hahaha but yeah...this is my rambling...
ill havepics up from tuesday and trl come weds or thurs, so look out for em....its like 1'30 in the morning, time to sleeeeeeeeeeep later bitches
p.s. i might be going to meet taking back sunday on friday and seeing them in concert 11/29 i think....i dont wanna get excited and it not happen, but its looking good :) so we'll see, cause i seriously neeed it with all thats goin on in my life right now
