I meant to post this earlier, but the only working internet connection I have access to is at work, so I must wait until the night is slow, such as tonight.
My house got power back sunday night right around when I got home from work- a blessing and curse; the blessing because I enjoy not having all the electric buzz around me and a curse as I am no longer living by myself. Fortunately for me, I was able to snag a hot shower from my friends at the HC, specifically Andrea and Janny while the power was out, so no real complaints. The weather was cool and the only thing missing was a small grill to cook meals on (that problem has since been corrected- thanks Sears discount card and advance knowledge of items going on clearance! *thumbs up and wink at camera).
Whilst the family was away, I was finally able to get most of my books/magazines/graphic novels on shelves in my bedroom and other books into boxes. However, while putting my magazines up, I noticed I was missing my June 2005 issue of Playboy (21st birthday and a Star Wars cover- a masterpiece in cosmic timing) which was odd since I'd seen it quite literally right before I fell asleep. Upon waking, the magazine was no longer where I had placed it, which led to a rather perfunctory search of the premises aka looked under a couple of piles of freshly laundered clothes. Eventually my train of thought led to "Maybe I ate it."
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, my odd thinking and rather good mood led me to consider the possibility of me getting up and consuming the magazine while I slept. Of course I later found the magazine, but I'm still unable to account for a star wars book and three graphic novels. I'm missing the third book in the Heir to the Throne trilogy, the Wolverine: Origin gn, and my Batman: Hush books. I'm pretty sure I've loaned the latter three to either Matt or Brian or some combonation thereof, but the first book's absence is slighty miffling (my word). I'll find it eventually, just odd it wasn't amongst the several stack of books which previously covered my bedroom floor. On another note, I have a couple bags of clothes I need to donate to the salvation army. I was a lot smaller in high school than I thought previously. Oh how so many things would be different if I knew then what I know now.
That's about all for now, except for
Shitty Pirates and this question:
Who would make a good joker and catwoman for the new Batman movies? So far I think David Arquette or William Dafoe for Joker, and Charisma Carpenter or Jennifer Connelly for Catwoman. Thoughts?
