R.I.P. Christopher Babbit
I'm sure we've all heard news that we didn't want to believe, maybe even refused to believe it, but nevertheless, it's true news, no matter how bad it is. A close friend of mine's life came to an end this Thursday. He was cruising on his motorcycle like he usually does on nice days, passed a car, and didn't realize the road came to a sharp turn...
He was always there for me when I called, always down to drink a few beers, always down to smoke a bowl or two, good company, and carried such a good spirit with him. Heheh although he was hard to understand sometimes, him being deaf and all, but that made him all the more unique, he was definately one of the boys. Not being able to hear well never stopped him to do anything.
His girlfriend Amanda has been like my sister since I was 14...God bless her and I will do my best to be there for her like she was for my when Dion died....
But I guess this is what happens as you get older....you watch loved ones around you pass on, If you don't pass on yourself....
I'll miss you Chris, and I'll hold you in that special place in my heart where I hold all the others.
