So...i finally have a LiveJournal account, Meh they looked ok, it was inevitable i would end up signing up, plus Gareth told me to get one...

I seriously have no idea what to write about, so please, just nod your head and smile if you think from this point on that it's all random crap.....

So yes, i've been meaning to get one of these for a while, but allways put off signing up, but now i can come here and complain all i want, not that i know if anyone will read it, but hopefully somebody will stumble upon my entries and have a good laugh and me forever complaining about stuff.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt if i gave some of you some background info on me would it?? Since my bio on here is empty..and will most likely stay like that :p

Now if you haven't allready guessed (And those of you who haven't..my god your slow) The name is Adam, but that is Mr. Adamness or Lord Thomas to you (Yes, Thomas is my middle name), Adam Thomas Grant..urgh i hate my name...don't ask me why. You're probably (sp?) bored allready and i don't blame you...i sometimes complain about stupid stuff, so just learn to live with it, ok?

Hmmmm, well i can't really be bothered to go into my past and tell you stuff about me anymore, that's all your getting for now...more will follow in the future :p
So that's an incentative to stick around and read what i post, isn't it?
But like everyone in the world i've had very shitty things happen to me and very good things happen to me.

Well then, today has been another lazy day sitting around reading, watching TV, listening to music, and eating. I or i should say 'We' (referring to my boyfriend Gareth) should really stop having lazy days..Yes Gareth you read that right, we really should go out for a walk on the beach sometimes no matter what the weather is like.
Anywhoo, reading...Yes, i have finally (meaning about 30 minute's ago) finished reading 'The Catcher in the Rye', a pretty decent book it would have been better if Holden didn't swear and complain so much, but in spite of that it's still a good book.

I ran into a friend the other day in town and he told me that found a videotape in his room, and on this tape was a performance that i had done at college. During my first year at college, everything went wrong in our department and for the first 6 months we never had a set lecturer, and half of our classes were allways cancelled, Great first impression of college life.
Anyway, towards the end of the year our small class (About 8 of us) Decided to take matters into our own hands and do our own show, not like every other show that was being done, every other show was a play. We decided to sing for our show.
So armed with only 2 member's of staff to back our idea's up we set about organising it, there were the usual arguments about stuff, but in the end it came off without a hitch.
There were some great singer's among the group, song's such as Lionel Richie's 'Hello', No Doubt's 'Don't Speak' and Green Day's 'Basketcase', so after those song's were done i finally find myself on stage, Microphone in stand, and i think to myself that i've only got one chance to get it right, I had chosen to sing 'To The Moon and Back' by Savage Garden, and i done pretty well if i do say so myself, I started that college course and couldn't hold a note, and 2-3 months of lesson's my voice REALLY improved.
However now i just see myself as a very crappy singer.
I actually got a round of applause after i was done singing, which was amazing, i didn't want to leave the stage.

Well that's enough about my past...and enough for this post, i'll try and make the next post...well, interesting :p

Adam
