For those of you who may or may not have been upset that the bookstore has been closed since the incident with the illnesses, I do apologise and regret to say that the store will likely be closed through the weekend. No, I was not one of the sick individuals. However, the experience was... quite humbling, to say the least, and I am afraid I still need a few days to... recover, as it were.

During that last little "event", I got a taste of what it is to be mortal. I first made the discovery when I cut myself on the edge of a page which, in itself was startling. And there was blood and... oh gracious, I think I'm getting faint just thinking of it again. After all, there were people being killed out there! And I very well could have been one of them! I was fortunate enough not to have been amongst the dead, but even just the thought of the possibility is... Well, I shudder to think of the consequences.
