THIS JUST IN: I said something very stupid not too long ago that is bound to piss quite a few people off. (None of you, though, so ~rest easy~.) Namely, alluding to me doing something, ehh, I probably will not do. It was a false implied promise, if you will.
Nngh. A further lesson in why, sometimes, just SHUTTING THE FUCK UP is a good start; THINKING SHIT OUT is always a fair follow-up.
Moving on.
It has been at least a month since a woman from the library said she would "call me back" for an interview. I have been being stupidly optimistic about it; after all, it took them six months to get from me turning in a resumé to calling me in for testing. But, thinking about it point-blank; it is fair to say the interview will never happen. I am not getting that job.
